Whole Wheat Apple Crisp

Ingredients
Topping1/4 cup uncooked quick-cooking oats
1/4 cup whole wheat flour
1/4 cup firmly packed brown sugar
1/2 teaspoon ground cinnamon
1/8 teaspoon salt
1/4 cup cold stick LAND O LAKES® Light Butter, cut into chunks
Filling1/3 cup firmly packed brown sugar
1/4 cup chopped dried apricots
1 tablespoon whole wheat flour
1 teaspoon freshly grated orange zest
1/2 teaspoon ground cinnamon
1/8 teaspoon salt
4 to 5 apples (6 cups), peeled, cored, cut into chunks

Directions:
Heat oven to 350°F. Spray 8-inch square or 2-quart glass baking dish with no-stick cooking spray; set aside.

Combine all topping ingredients except light butter in medium bowl; cut in light butter with pastry blender or fork until mixture resembles coarse crumbs.

Place all filling ingredients except apples in large bowl; mix well. Add apples; toss to coat evenly. Spoon apple mixture into baking dish; sprinkle evenly with topping. Bake for 40 to 50 minutes or until apples are tender and topping is lightly browned.

Serve warm or at room temperature.
