Canadian Naval Centennial
In 2010, Canada's Navy is marking its 100th anniversary of service to our country. The theme is to "Bring the Navy to Canadians" and events will be focused to honour the past, to showcase the current navy and to reinforce the requirement for a future navy. The navy, along with several civilian navy oriented groups, has commenced planning for the 2010 activities.
On Behalf of the Canadian Naval Centennial Project you are invited to participate in an information session presented by Captain Craig Walkington, Canadian Naval Centennial Coordinator who will provide an overview of Maritime Forces Atlantic- Naval Centennial Events. http://www.canadiannavy100.forces.gc.ca/ This is an opportunity to learn first hand about how you can become involved in this don't miss event of 2010. We have several sessions planned, please rsvp by Friday, March 5, 2010 indicating your desired session #, in order of preference. All sessions will take place at WTCC, NS Department of Tourism, Culture and Heritage, 6th floor.
Session #1 - Wednesday, March 10 @ 14:00hrs-16:00hrs
Session #2- Thursday, March 11 @ 09:00hrs-11:00hrs
Session # 3- Thursday, March 11 @ 14:00hrs-16:00hrs.
