Nova Scotia Association of Chefs and Cooks Gala Dinner and Awards Nov 24, 2009

On November 19, 2009 the Nova Scotia Association of Chefs and Cooks celebrated their annual Gala Dinner at the Delta Halifax Hotel. The night was presented by Culinary Team Nova Scotia where a four course meal was enjoyed by 180 guests from the culinary and food service industry.
The funds raised at the gala dinner are to facilitate the growth of both the senior and junior branch membership, the 2010 schedule of events and to celebrate the achievements of the association members in 2009.

Establishment of the Year
NSCC Akerley Campus, Bruce McNeil
Culinarian of the Year
Chef Peter Dewar, NSCC Kingstech Campus
Chef of the Year
Chef Luis Clavel, Holiday Inn Harbourview Hotel
This year’s award recipients have shown a tremendous amount of dedication and have been key in developing the growth of the Nova Scotia Association of Chefs and Cooks.
